Carson Beach
Also known as L Street Beach, Carson Beach is a great place to visit without having to leave the city. Carson Beach has a three-mile stretch of beaches along the South Boston shoreline and is a go-to spot for families. Enjoy a day swimming, playing volleyball, or relaxing in the sun. This beach also has a few amenities including on-duty lifeguards during the summer months, courtyards, restrooms, and a mother’s rest area.

Revere Beach
A lively beach setting is what the summer is all about! Revere Beach is Boston’s first public beach in the U.S. and it’s commonly referred to as “the People’s Beach.” Getting here is quick—just a five-mile trip north of Boston or hop on the T’s Blue Line if you don’t want to drive. Filled with athletic fields, food vendors, pavilions, and lots of great swimming areas, Revere Beach is sure to a be a hit.
