Give 2026 a Seaport Refresh Dec 22, 2025

The new year will be here before you know it! Now is the time to prepare for 2026, whether you’re ready to kick off a new year fitness plan, practice generosity in a local context, or experiment with an unexpected hobby that you’ve always thought sounded like fun. At Ora Seaport, residents enjoy effortless access to some of the city’s best resources for fulfilling these goals. Let’s dig into a few of our favorite options.

Make Seaport Fitness Your Own
Looking for gym memberships, run clubs, and fitness classes in the Seaport? Extend your pilates practice at the iconic [solidcore], known for its Signature50 Full Body workouts, or invest in a Seaport gym membership at Equinox, where exclusive classes and personal training are available every single week. For additional water aerobic options, join Wave Health & Fitness, one of the Seaport’s most unique fitness centers. If you are a runner, Ora offers proximity to the Boston Seaport’s scenic running trails, including the Boston Harborwalk and the nearby Castle Island Loop. Extra accountability (and post-workout hangs) are available throughout the month at Boston’s many run clubs.

Donate Things You No Longer Need
Make generosity a habit this year and declutter your space by donating items you no longer need to one of the Seaport’s many local service organizations. The Salvation Army’s Boston presence can be strengthened through donations of funds, goods, or even a few hours of your time on a Saturday. Rosie’s Place, a women-only shelter based in Boston, accepts books in like-new condition for their ever-evolving library. You can also donate to their virtual food drive via this link!

Explore a New Hobby
In 2026, maybe your best self wants to finally learn how to play hockey in Boston, take an art class or baking class in the Seaport, learn a new instrument, or attend a Boston acting school. This is the beginning of your journey! Grab some friends and learn to ice skate without the bite of traditional ice at Ballers’ seasonal rink. Take lessons at one of Boston’s most iconic outdoor skating experiences, Frog Pond. If all else fails, enjoy a Boston Bruins game as a spectator and let the pros handle the skating. Want to explore the culinary arts? Take a Seaport cooking class at Tuscan Kitchen or a seasonal cake decorating class at The Sugar Connection. Let us know what other ideas you explore, whether that’s a drawing lesson, acting class, or something else totally distinct to you.

Whatever your goals for 2026, we hope that they excite and invigorate you. In our city and at our connected location, anything is possible. Cheers to the new year and all to come!
